Own your corner before your competitor does.
When someone walks past the coffee shop on the corner, their phone lights up: “Your local realtor wants to buy you a latte.” You get a warm lead. They get a free coffee. The shop gets foot traffic. Everyone wins, but only the first sponsor in each category gets the spot.

Questions
Answered.
What does intersection exclusivity mean?
As a founding sponsor, your intersection is exclusively yours for each 90-day period you stay active. No other business — in any industry — can run gift campaigns at your corner while your lock is active. After that period, if you renew, the exclusivity continues. If you cancel, the intersection opens back up for others.
What happens after 90 days?
Your zone renews automatically every 90 days. You will get an email 7 days before each renewal so there are no surprises. Cancel anytime from your dashboard and your zone releases at the end of that period. No one can take your corner while you stay active.
Is the $197 loaded into my wallet?
No. The $197 is a one-time intersection fee paid to Buyya to secure your founding spot. Your gift campaign wallet is funded separately. You load your wallet and only spend when a consumer responds to your gift.
How does the wallet work?
You add funds to your Buyya wallet from your dashboard. When a consumer near your intersection claims a gift you are offering, your wallet pays the vendor. You only spend when someone actually engages. No subscriptions, no monthly minimums.
How do I connect with people who claim my gift?
When a consumer claims your gift, you get a push notification and email with their name and phone number. You send the first intro message directly from your Buyya dashboard. They respond in the app. It is a warm, opt-in conversation that starts the moment they claim — no cold calling, no guessing if they want to hear from you.
How long does founding sponsor status last?
Founding sponsor pricing and the 90-day lock are available until Buyya reaches 500 active users in your market. After that, new sponsors pay standard rates and cannot displace you as long as your account is active.
Does this only benefit big corporations, or is this for local businesses too?
Buyya is built specifically for local professionals and the small businesses around them. When you sponsor a gift at your neighborhood intersection, you are not just generating a lead for yourself. You are sending that person to their favorite underrated coffee shop or restaurant. The vendor gets foot traffic. The consumer gets a real gift. You get a warm introduction. Think about it this way: your campaign can keep that corner diner full on a Tuesday morning while your name stays top of mind in the neighborhood. Big brands do not need that kind of community trust. You do.
Is this like a gift card I can negotiate with local vendors?
Exactly. When you run a Buyya campaign, you are essentially offering a gift card redeemable at participating vendors near your intersection. You set the gift amount, and vendors can match your contribution or negotiate a deal that works for both of you. A $10 gift might unlock a $15 latte credit at the shop around the corner because the vendor values the foot traffic you bring. You get to curate your network. The vendor gets a loyal new customer. Everyone in the loop wins.
Why does gifting generate better leads than traditional advertising?
Robert Cialdini documented this in his research on reciprocity: when someone receives a gift, they feel a genuine social obligation to respond. Not out of guilt. Out of human nature. That instinct does not go away just because the gift came from an app. When your name is attached to the free coffee someone is holding, the first conversation you have with them is not cold. You already did something for them. Traditional ads interrupt. A gift introduces. The lead who claimed your gift is not scrolling past a banner. They are standing in a coffee shop thinking about you.
What happens if I lock a zone and go inactive?
Your zone requires active campaigns to stay locked. If your wallet runs dry or you go 14 consecutive days without an active gift campaign, your zone is automatically released and your lock fee is forfeited. This keeps zones in the hands of sponsors who are actually showing up for the neighborhood — not sitting on corners they aren't using. Keep your wallet funded and your campaigns running and your zone is yours.
What features does Buyya include for sponsors?
Your sponsor dashboard includes: an intersection lock tied to your category, a wallet you load and spend only on actual gift claims, a CRM inbox where leads respond directly after claiming your gift, campaign controls to set gift type and amount, push and email notifications when a lead comes in, zone traffic analytics showing how many people pass your intersection, a QR code your partner vendors can print and post in-store, and a magic link login so you never lose access to your dashboard. All of it is in one place.
